• Game session data — party codes, player names, and scores during multiplayer sessions. This data is stored temporarily and deleted when the session ends.
• Local storage — high scores and preferences are stored in your browser's local storage and never sent to our servers.
• Usage data — basic analytics (page views, session duration) may be collected via Firebase Analytics to help us improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service.
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To enable multiplayer party features.
• To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Firebase & Third-Party Services

SpaceGuessr uses Google Firebase for authentication, real-time database, and hosting. Firebase may collect certain data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you also agree to Google's terms.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Party session data is deleted at the end of the session. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page, which will permanently remove all associated data.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to save your game preferences and high scores locally. Firebase may set authentication cookies to keep you signed in. No advertising cookies are used.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at bjung031@gmail.com. You can also delete your account directly from the Account page.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
